Learn To Play Sledge Hockey

​On March 8, 2020, Different Abilities hosted “Learn to Play Sledge Hockey” at Kitchener City Hall; a free community event featuring the opportunity to learn sledge hockey, educational booths from ability-focused organizations and a panel of para-sport athletes who answered questions regarding abilities, disabilities and para-sports. The event had over 200 participants and raised over $800 to purchase a sledge that will stay at Kitchener City Hall. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this event!
